A decade of panic disorder and major depression motivated Rob Jackson ’s personal search for wholeness. During his junior year in college, he added psychology as a double major. Now, with twenty years of professional experience, Rob shares his personal and professional understanding of intimacy disorder. His therapeutic model, known as “The IcebergTM”, is drawn from personal experience and continues to gain acceptance.

Rob has provided professional counseling through his private practice since 1991. He offers workshops, seminars, and intensives for individuals, couples, and families. Having earned a master of science in clinical psychology in 1986, he is a Licensed Professional Counselor in
Colorado and Mississippi and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington . Rob is a National Board Certified Counselor and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Rob is a frequent guest on Christian radio broadcasts, and speaks regularly at conferences and churches.
Rob is a member of the National Pro-Family Organization. Representatives from more than 20 national organizations gather quarterly for advancing a family-friendly agenda throughout the nation. He and his colleagues speak annually at the Impact America Conference founded by this organization. As the only mental health professional in this organization, he regularly shares his therapeutic model for personal growth and recovery.
In 2003, Focus on the Family contracted Rob to author several articles for their
www.pureintimacy.org website. He continues to expand his website, ChristianCounsel.com, with a variety of online resources.
As an educator, Rob has served as an adjunct professor for a seminary, an instructor for a university, and an instructor for a high school. He is a licensed and ordained minister and deacon.
Married in 1987, Rob and his wife, Renee, view ministry as a grateful response to God’s grace to them. The Jacksons and their two children live in
Colorado Springs, Colorado, and are members of Woodmen Valley Chapel.
