Upcoming Workshops
Emphasis is given to intimacy
disorder and how to overcome broken trust, addiction, coaddiction, and
childhood wounds.
The
principal service consists of two 5-day workshops for adult male sex
addicts and their spouses, and one weekend workshop for couples. If
you are a therapist or pastor and would like to learn how the workshops
can come to your location, please email
Rob Jackson.
Workshops
integrate the study of God (theology) and the study of how the soul
relates to its Creator (Christ-affirming psychology). By helping the
participant clarify and act on his or her authentic needs, true healing
begins. Sexual sin (committed volitionally by self or committed by
others against you) creates spiritual and psychological wounds. Workshop
participants learn that not only is there a profound need for healing by
our Creator, but there exists a need to purposefully emulate Christ in
order to avoid other cyclical, self-defeating behaviors.
If
you feel that clinical services are needed, I encourage you to consider a clinical
intensive. The workshop has been described as both therapeutic and
empowering, but it is not designed to take the place of professional
therapy.
